Stuart Family Reunion

Wow what a crazy month it has been. I've been a little absent from blogging and have so much catching up to do. Work has been very busy and as we head into fall will only get more insane! Young Womens is challenging as always but I'm sure I'm receiving many blessing right? I've been doing a lot more photography, which I totally love! I have managed to find time to do some playing and have great pictures as proof. Some people may think I'm dying hopefully I'm not. Since Rilynn has been born I've been sick with 4 colds/sore throats that last 2-3 weeks and then the stomach flu last month. I feel like I have been sick non-stop. I hope with seasons changing it will eventually come to an end and I can enjoy motherhood without feeling like I'm on the verge of tears. And last but not least I LOVE being a mom. Rilynn is such a wonderful baby and I soak in every minute I get to spend with her. She is growing up so fast I hope I can remember her tiny baby stage.

This summer it was time for the Stuart Family Reunion. This isn't your ordinary reunion it is always spectacular and the company is even better. I love my family so much and already can't wait for the next reunion. It's a little crazy to think Rilynn will be a two year old, seems so far away right now.

The reunion was at Pine View Reservoir. Due to work I was only able to play for 1 1/2 days but it was great to see everyone and for them to meet Rilynn. Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures but the ones I did were too cute not to post.

 Crafty Aunt Shauna brought stuff for everyone to make their own hula hoop. Who knew you could make your own? I could never hula hoop but I can with these ones. I think I found my new aerobic exercise. 

 My wonderful friend Ashley came with me so I wouldn't have to drive alone and helped me with Rilynn. She is such a great friend huh! As you can tell I'm a little excited my childhood dream of doing the hula hoop was fulfilled.

Pictures say a thousand words

My AMAZING friend Bobbi with Journey Photography was so kind to take some beautiful pictures of Rilynn and I. We all know how much photos mean to me and these are priceless. I want to cry just looking at them. I know they are something I will cherish forever and hopefully when Rilynn sees them when she is older she will understand the love I have for her. I couldn't pick just a few, so it is a bit of a photo overload but there are too many good ones. 

3 months

I can't get enough of her funny faces because she is full of them. The middle one is her talking face it's so cute! 

Cutest lil Firecracker

I was feeling pretty sick on the 4th this year and spent all day in bed. I decided to get out of bed long enough to take a photo or two of my cutest little girl in her cute 4th of July outfits. So here you have it Rilynn's first 4th of July.

These faces melt my heart and in all honestly bring me to tears. Everyday I realize how much of a blessing she is in my life. There isn't anything else I live for than making her happy. 

2 months old

Riding the Wave

Right before I headed back to work we took a trip to Wolf Creek to play on the water. We went out on the reservoir for the first morning and after the wind picked up we packed it up and headed to the condo. Rilynn and I didn't get to ride on the boat and no wake boarding for me :( I'm quickly learning that your life completely changes after having kids. Despite being sad about not getting to play I was more than happy to sit on the beach and take pictures of my darling little peanut. 

My mom was good about not making me feel so lonely by myself on the beach. 

 After we got back we went and played at the pool. I was really in need of some color as you can see. Rilynn wasn't much for the water so she just looked pretty laying in the shade with Cici.

What  a babe huh?

On the second day we decided to play in Ogden so we tried out the Flow Rider. It is the craziest experience and everyone must try it. The force of the water is unbelievable.

This was my attempt at the surfing and this is about how long it lasted too. I immediately crashed so hard that I had a head ache for two days and my ears were killing me. The water is SO fast that I didn't even know what hit me. It just hurt :)

So for the rest of the time I stuck with the boogie board. HAHA I'm dying over this grin I'm not sure I've ever seen a smile so big. The feeling was so crazy that I was just giddy with excitement. I tried not to smile so big to avoid looking like a dork but I honestly couldn't.

My lovely life

This little beauty has been trying out her bumbo and loves it. Her muscles are getting so strong and she is very active with her arms and legs

Abby has finally recognized Rilynn but I still think she is pretty annoyed by the new roomate

 I adore my dad and love his cooking. He bought himself a smoker for his early fathers day present. He is so thoughtful to buy his own gifts. He has been trying out all new stuff and I'm always willing to eat it yummy!

A trip to the spa for a pedi and much needed girl time made for a wonderful day
